Mission

The Open Heritage Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in India. Its mission is to aid and encourage people to collect, develop and disseminate cultural knowledge in the public domain or under a license that allows everyone to freely use, distribute and modify that content freely. To address this, we collaborate with cultural organisations, and knowledge institutes to create and strengthen a network of champions for open knowledge.

  2. Advocating Open GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives ad Museums).
  3. Creating Open Education Resources.
  4. Documenting indigenous knowledge of the Global South.
